Role Description:

The Senior Account Executive position understands how to deliver exceptional client service and understands the business strategy towards helping lead a successful Account. The Senior Account Executive leads specific media efforts focused on fostering impactful editorial relationships and generating significant media coverage. The Senior Account Executive demonstrates the ability to successfully execute a full range of written materials, including client correspondence, press releases, media pitches, status reports, and more.

The Senior Account Executive oversees client projects (including events, launches, and media programs) from concept to execution—managing budgets, timelines, status updates, reporting, and junior staff, as needed.

The Senior Account Executive brings industry contacts to the table, where appropriate. The Senior Account Executive communicates new and significant ideas to keep our clients relevant in the industry, from press pitches to contributing strategic thinking for campaigns

The Senior Account Executive serves as client point-of-contact on assigned accounts, coordinating multiple projects.

Requirements:

  •  Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field from an accredited college of university is required.

  •  4 -6 years experience in Communications Marketing and/or related fields, including research, advertising, management consulting, media or publishing

    Expected competencies include:

  •  Strong relationships with the media and the ability to secure media placements

  •  Proven track record of assigning and delegating work to junior staff

  •  Demonstrates behaviors consistent with ColorComm’s values, Code of Ethics and Business Conduct.

Position:

RPR seeks a talented and dynamic Senior Account Executive to join our growing

Corporate PR group. A successful candidate must be able to multitask, have a passion

for the PR industry, and possess an independent yet collaborative work ethic. An ideal

candidate should also have the knowledge and expertise to assist on multiple corporate

accounts in various industries and meet tight deadlines.

*This is an in-office role Monday through Thursday at our Midtown Manhattan

office. Fridays are remote.

Responsibilities:

· Deliver exceptional client service and corporate account/project management

· Facilitate and develop strategic plans/programs, including, but not limited to, press

materials, media campaigns, and strategic partnerships

· Lead specific media efforts focused on fostering impactful editorial relationships and

generating significant media coverage

· Demonstrate the ability to successfully execute a full range of written materials,

including client correspondence, press releases, media pitches, status reports, and

more

· Oversee client projects (including events, launches, and media programs) from

concept to execution—managing budgets, timelines, status updates, reporting, and

junior staff, as needed

· Bring industry/category contacts to the table, where appropriate

· Communicate new and significant ideas to keep our clients relevant in the industry,

from press pitches to contributing strategic thinking for campaigns

· Serve as client point-of-contact on assigned accounts, coordinating multiple projects

· Managing the work of AEs, AAEs, ACs, and interns

Required Qualifications:

· BA/BS in public relations, journalism, business communications, or related field

· 4+ years of agency experience in the technology, health and wellness industries, clean

energy and crisis management.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Experience with national, state, and local media with a proven track record in pitching

and securing national, trade and regional press coverage

· Already possessing established media contacts and relationships while continuing to

build new ones

· Ability to work well with team members and take direction in a fast-paced environment

· Proactive and detail-oriented

· Deliver work on time without sacrificing quality

· Creative professional with an energetic personality

To comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations, the Company believes the target range of base compensation for this role is $65,000 to $85,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors, including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and location.
