Evoke KYNE Seeks Senior Vice President (SVP), Social Strategy

We are currently seeking a Senior Vice President (SVP), Social Strategy to join our growing team. The SVP will serve as the senior strategic client relationship leader across key health and wellness social media engagements for the agency while supporting development of the overall strategic direction of the company and driving new business efforts. In addition, the SVP will help to drive influencer engagement activity related to client engagements. This individual will report to the Head of Social Media (PHL, US).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serves as strategic social media counsel lead for client engagements based on broad communications landscape and business goals with a deep understanding of content strategy across organic, paid and influencer programming and nuances of executing in a regulated healthcare environment
Viewed as expert in social media with deep working knowledge across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Tik Tok and emerging platforms such as ClubHouse
Ability to lead influencer strategies for clients from discovery to engagement and measuring results
Serves as quality control across client business ensuring the highest quality with best practices and emerging trends woven into all content
Serves as facilitator/moderator for social media-related client workshops and events, including social platform training, social media trend overviews, social media branding and 101 workshops, POVs, etc.
Partners with Head of Social and Global Head of Digital to assess staffing/resources regularly to effectively meet clients’ social media programming needs; strong financial acumen and ability to develop budgets, forecasts and manage staff development
Lead brainstorms, strategic planning and overall program development for clients with a constant pulse on program performance to ensure optimal results
Contributes suggestions and feedback to the overarching company strategy/annual goals partnering closely with EVPs to enhance digital and social capabilities
Drives new business growth through cultivation of new client relationships and exploration of organic business growth; superior presentation skills
Drives creative solutions and presents new opportunities to improve the firm’s performance and competitive advantage/differentiation in digital/social
Skilled communicator and presenter with high emotional intelligence
Embraces and values change and is driven to evolve to meet new opportunities
Shows thorough understanding of current issues in domestic and global health, translating knowledge into meaningful social media guidance/counsel for internal teams and clients
Provides direct and constructive feedback to leadership team and junior team members/direct reports, leading them in development of fundamental skill sets (writing, research, logistics, etc.)
Proactively seeks ways to identify, grow and retain top talent; provides opportunities and advocates for resources for junior staff to grow skillset in digital/social
Role models company values and inspires an inclusive culture, drives diversity and inclusion objectives for the company
Fosters a culture of collaboration, respect, and growth among account teams and greater agency
Experience in connecting with and creating content tailored to diverse audiences a plus
DESIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in communications, marketing, digital, business or health/science-related field or equivalent experience
10-12+ years’ communications or related marketing / advocacy / digital / social / health experience; partnership, US/global health issues or health product communications experience preferred
Expert in working across social platforms and executing programs supporting corporate, branded and unbranded healthcare and lifestyle initiatives
Direct experience working across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Snapchat, YouTube, Google Analytics, with deep understanding of paid social and organic/user-generated content campaigns
Proven track record managing resources and budgets for large-scale social media programs
Track record of delivering high quality and measurable results
Recognized project management aptitude
Knowledge of FDA social media guidelines and FTC influencer guidelines (Knowledge of EU regulatory and compliance social media guidelines is a plus, ABPI code, etc.)
Deep knowledge of paid social media strategies and capabilities
In-depth experience with social listening/analytics platforms
