We are currently seeking a Senior Social Media Specialist to join our growing team and support client engagements in executing existing and new programs across social media, as directed by the Supervisor or Director, and other senior management on the team. This is an opportunity to support social media programming efforts for clients in the pharmaceutical space, using your communications training and experience to improve health and make a difference. Experience working with physician/healthcare professional influencers and paid social media is desired.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client Partnership
Provides social media support on multiple client accounts
Responsible for executing and/or overseeing a variety of client program activities including research, social media monitoring, and establishing relevant relationships on behalf of clients with online advocates, influencers
Develops drafts of client documents including social media posts, results reports, influencer mapping and summary reports, etc., and proofs all documents for thoroughness and accuracy before providing to other team members or client for review
Liaison with company partners and vendors on client projects as appropriate
Manages comprehensive social media projects and/or influencer events including logistics, timetables and deadlines
Provides creative input in developing social strategy documents
Business Development
Participates in new business brainstorms and conducts research on new business projects
Supports management of Evoke KYNE social media channels
Track content performance with ability to discover and implement actionable insights
Shows strong understanding of social media tools as well as web-based research tools, i.e., Netbase
Aids in the development of new business materials (presentations, RFP responses) as appropriate
Takes the initiative in seeking training on company processes/procedures
Leadership & Teamwork
Displays an ongoing willingness to gain knowledge and make significant contributions to the team
Demonstrates initiative and resourcefulness and attempts to work through issues collaboratively or independently as appropriate
Works closely and collaboratively with interns and Social Media Specialists, helping to mentor and provide direction on projects as needed

Effectively partners with account teams to meet client needs, clearly communicating project objectives, direction and timing

Effective Communication
Ensures accuracy of all written projects, including grammar, fact-checking and referencing documents as needed
Creates engaging copy and assets for client social media platforms, in partnership with agency’s creative team, on a regular basis
Strong analytical skills to carry out a metrics-driven approach to content creation
Takes opportunities to lead in client interactions to further develop client communication skills
DESIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in communications / marketing / advocacy / digital / social media
2-5 years’ communications or related marketing / advocacy / digital / social / health experience; partnership, US/global health issues or health product communications experience preferred
