Current Global Seeks Director - Platform Strategy, Healthcare
DESCRIPTION
Current Global is looking for a Director, Platform Strategy to join the Integrated Media community responsible for leading digital and social media work across a portfolio of healthcare clients – ranging from pharma to health tech. The ideal candidate possesses a strong interest in healthcare and an integrated marketing mindset. A strategic, collaborative and proactive digital expert with critical thinking skills and attention to detail. This person understands how to use digital and social media channels to help businesses, brands and executives communicate effectively and reach a wide range of target audiences. Confident in their recommendations and comfortable counseling clients, the ideal candidate has a passion for healthcare and wants to join a growing team of experts.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Developing digital and social media strategies and recommendations for healthcare clients that map to business objectives
Overseeing digital and social media execution for healthcare clients, including content creation, paid media and influencer partnerships (collaborating with the broader team)
Serving as a senior client counselor
Continually looking for opportunities to optimize
Providing insights and demonstrating ROI beyond impressions, click-through or fan acquisition
Staying at the forefront of new digital trends, applications and offerings
Mentoring and growing a team of junior employees
Mentor junior staff
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
7-9 years of experience, preferably with some agency experience
Understanding of social content and digital advertising in a regulated space (e.g., financial services, healthcare, energy)
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to build trust and rapport with clients and teams across all levels
Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple deliverables at once
