Clyde Group Seeks Graphic Designer for Creative Fellowship Program

 

POSITION OVERVIEW

Clyde Group is seeking a talented graphic designer to join our growing creative team as part of our Clyde Fellowship Program. We are currently accepting resumes for the May – August 2021 cohort of fellows. 

 

We are a firm that is disrupting “business as usual” in communications through creative strategy and tactics focused entirely on results-driven client service. Our work deals with exciting national-level issues, including healthcare, education, financial services, non-profits, civil rights, and many others. Our team is creative, ambitious, collaborative, tenacious, and highly rewarded.

 

The Clyde Fellowship Program is designed to give recent college graduates hands-on experience in an agency environment and kickstart their career.   Our Creative Fellow will support the creative team across all accounts at the agency. In addition, through a professional development curriculum, the Creative Fellow will  gain industry expertise and receive: training in technical skills and industry tools; résumé and cover letter writing workshops and interview coaching; and mentorship from across the organization and at every level.

 

Clyde Fellows also participate in a semester-long capstone project where they work collaboratively with guidance from their managers to develop and present an original public relations campaign to address a real-world client issue. 

QUALIFICATIONS

To apply, you should:

  • Have a working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign; Animation and illustration skills are a plus

  • Be able to complete design projects in a fast paced environment

  • Be able to thoughtfully describe your work and design decisions

  • Have a working understanding of social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn

  • Be detail-oriented

  • Be passionate about learning

  • Have interest in learning and receiving feedback that will help accelerate both design and soft skills

  • Have proven time management and organizational skills

  • Have the desire to work with a cross-functional, integrated team to deliver award-winning work

  • Have a commitment to uphold and defend the highest levels of ethical conduct

  • Have a desire to work in a fun, fluid, and fast-paced environment

  • Have respect for a culturally-diverse team

  • The ability to work 40 hours a week
