Bliss Seeks Senior Account Executive or Account Supervisor, Professional Services

 

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Bliss Group is looking for a Senior Account Executive or Account Supervisor to join our growing Professional Services practice.  This hire will join a team responsible for the B2B integrated marketing activities and PR for our largest client, supporting and delving deep on multiple business lines and specific industries within. 

 

This is truly an integrated role: your work will span traditional media relations, strategic planning, content creation, website copy, email marketing, paid social, display advertising.  This team is at the forefront of content innovation, working on everything from traditional articles and whitepapers to videos and podcasts to online calculators and assessments to interactive content experiences.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • This role will be approximately 1/3 media relations, 1/3 writing, and 1/3 research, planning & strategy

  • Serve as the day-to-day client lead on at least one account

  • Leverage stellar writing/editing skills to develop and edit content (surveys/studies and other long-form thought leadership collateral, email marketing copy, digital ad copy, video scripts, etc.)

  • Develop media relations strategies, goals, media targets and pitch angles

  • Pitch the media

  • Route articles of interest to account teams and client

  • Assist in the development of long-term client plans and program recommendations

  • Manage reporting mechanisms for client and account team

  • Support organic new business development initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 2+ years (SAE); 4+ years (AS) of relevant public relations, content creation, and/or integrated marketing experience is required; agency experience preferred

  • B2B communications experience is required

  • Media relations experience is a MUST

  • Exceptional writing skills is a MUST

  • Client service experience preferred

  • Strong interest in professional services

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Thrives in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment

  • Works effectively within a team, demonstrating coordination, communication and problem-solving

  • Excellent organizational and planning skills; able to work quickly, prioritizing multiple assignments, while being flexible to changing client and team needs & priorities

  • Ability to grasp complex content

  • Intellectual curiosity, a passion for learning about a rapidly evolving industry, and a positive attitude!

    ​​​​​Work Location: temporarily remote but will be based in our NYC Office once we return in the coming months.
