DAA Measurement Survey Deadline Extended to Dec. 21

As the year 2020 concludes, the Diversity Action Alliance (DAA) is actively preparing its annual impact report. The Year One (2020) annual report will give an overview of progress, alliance-led or supported initiatives and will layout the state of the industry as determined by the benchmarks.

The Alliance is rooted in ACTion (Adopt best practices—Champion the cause—Track Progress). The purpose of the third component, "Track Progress" is to benchmark and track diversity numbers to improve recruitment and retention within organizations.

Tracking Our Progress is the focus pillar of our commitment this year, and is a key component to accelerating progress for people of color in our industry. Those who sign the commitment agree to “share key representation metrics with the DAA for benchmarking and for anonymized reporting of the aggregate progress within the communication profession.” To ensure security and confidentiality, data will only be presented as aggregated scores, rather than individual summaries.

Due to an influx of new signatories and questions surrounding the DAA Measurement Survey– we are extending the deadline to December 21st.

We firmly encourage all signatories to participate as fulfilling the three pillars of the commitment are core to our success.
