Marketing and Digital Media Specialist

General Description:

The Marketing and Digital Media Specialist creates, writes, edits and designs content for digital publishing and print. Works with Marketing leadership to ensure digital content meets mission objectives and properly reflects banding guidelines. Designs/develops multi-platform digital interactive multimedia and graphics content with non-digital media, site, live streaming, and on various platforms (Constant Contact, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube). Partners across Premier Community HealthCare to support the organization's marketing and development strategies. Serves as primary web and digital content administrator ensuring content is organized, current and accurate.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop an intimate understanding of our brand message and tone to accurately capture in video and photo form.

  • Supports studio set up, including lighting and set design.

  • Produces, analyzes, synthesizes, manipulates and adapts products using commercial tools such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustratior (Adobe Suite) Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premier Pro.

  • Develops and shoots video to support organization mission and storytelling objective.

  • Maintains Word Press website, digital content, social media content, assists with marketing collateral creation, surveys, graphics, photography/video and campaigns.

  • Photographs major programs/events.

  • Responsible for patient story database and documenting reviews.

  • Develop and manage campaign content with tailored messaging targeted to diverse audiences across multiple channels.

  • Maintain and implement content and social media marketing calendar.

  • Ensure confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times.

  • Keep other care team members informed when situations occur that disrupts timely patient flow through site.

  • Adhere to patient care needs and the core values of Premier Community HealthCare to a provide best-in-class patient experience.

  • Work towards attaining department goals and drive Quality Improvement / Quality Assurance (QI/QA).

  • Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory responsibilities: None

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Working knowledge of fundamental marketing communication and ability to understand marketing strategies, concepts and campaign objectives. Skilled in developing media materials and knowledge of a wide range of visual communication, illustration, graphics, media, perspective, design, layout principles, balance/contrast and concepts for conception, planning and execution of a variety of projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Understanding of composition, lighting, and sound in a production environment the ability to work within the constraints of both brand guidelines and short timelines Understand the basic elements of storytelling Basic knowledge of motion graphics. Proficient with Adobe Premiere and After Effects

  • Proficient at Word Press, Adobe CC Suites, Microsoft Office Suites, Acrobat Pro, PowerPoint, Adobe Premier and other design/visual software and applications.

  • Operational knowledge of using DSLR cameras/video operation and production, tablets, smart phones, computers, printers and other production equipment. Includes video editing and audio editing equipment.

  • Great creative eye for visualizing and shooting concepts effectively. Construct and deliver clear and compelling stories through video, photography, and other digital media.

  • Exceptional customer service skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing with multiple levels within the organization.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills in order to interact professionally and effectively with patients, staff, vendors, and community partners.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS required in related field such as Communications with an emphasis on Audio/Media Production or related program specific to audio and digital media as determined by HR

  • 2 years' Video and Audio Production experience.

  • 2 years' experience operating personal computers, Apple computers, Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Mac based audio/video software.
