Remote Digital Project Manager, Social Media
Role: As the Digital Project Manager you will bring organization, process, and team communication to the management of our digital workflow while serving as a client-facing liaison with accounts, partners and third parties. In this position, you will be accountable for ensuring quality control of deliverables and a detail-oriented approach to meeting and anticipating client needs. This is not an account management role; however, you may be responsible for supporting client-facing deliverables. From time-to-time you may also be asked to support the Agency President and Digital Director with internal administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
Project Management
Develop detailed project plans and timeline around campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, influencers and other channels, manage and update dynamic project calendars, effectively assess and assign responsibilities for optimal delivery, spearhead project deliverable tracking and progress; act as the owner of Asana and/or other project management tools
Work closely with internal and client teams to ensure goals, deadlines and deliverables are met
Enforce existing and establish new processes to ensure efficient communication, quality control, checks and balances, workflow, and management of all relevant documentation and information
Workflow
Develop or refine system and process to manage internal team member deliverables; includes clear communication of requirements and management of delegated tasks; also includes routing weekly deliverables to keep team accountable and meet deadlines within time, resources and budget allotted
Conduct risk assessment across accounts, escalate if concerns exist around ability to deliver work on time and within allocated hours and budget; includes critically planning deliverable dates and timelines from a long-term perspective to determine feasibility of sequencing deliverables
Partner with Digital Director on establishing priorities for each teammate and ensuring sufficient bandwidth to complete the task(s) at hand or bringing on additional resources as needed
Support President and Digital Director with ad-hoc administrative needs and manage Product Marketing Associate
Team and Client Support
Collaborate with Digital Director to ensure all clients receive timely responses
Schedule meetings, implement meeting agendas, participate in client meetings, manage client-facing recap notes, and represent agency as polished, knowledgeable and confident team member
Ensure accounts and projects are managed to scope, ensuring hours, costs, and deliverables are consistent with contractual obligations; includes interfacing with third parties — contractors, partners, agents, influencers, and talent — and drafting and reviewing third party contracts, when necessary
Maintain focus on overall client vision through the lens of objectives and industry best practices
Become knowledgeable on best-in-class beauty, health and wellness brands and social media
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of project management experience, ideally in an agency or brand setting
A hawk-like eye for detail; optics and the details that matter
Excellent written, verbal and listening skills
Strong time management, organization and problem solving skills
Familiarity with Asana or other project management tools; Google Suite, Mac proficient, Dropbox and other file hosting tools
