Clyde Group Seeks Content Director
POSITION OVERVIEW

We are a group that is disrupting “business as usual” in communications through creative strategy and tactics focused entirely on results-driven client service. Our work deals with exciting national-level issues, including healthcare, education, technology, financial services, nonprofits, civil rights and many others. On the client side, you will integrate closely with day-to-day account teams, working with clients to shape messaging and craft engaging copy for critical audiences (from consumers to opinion elites). You will develop a diverse range of communications products and develop creative and proactive content strategies while constantly evaluating success. For the firm, you will manage up and down – having a voice in shaping the company’s future and helping to mentor the future content writers on our team.
QUALIFICATIONS
A minimum of 6 to 12 years of experience creating content in both traditional and digital environments; agency experience preferred
Experience developing a wide variety of written copy, including speeches, white papers, op-eds and letters to the editor, social media content, articles, presentations, abstracts, and more
An understanding of how to capture a client’s voice and translate it to a broad range of communications channels
Experience writing new business proposals
A knack for translating complex, dense, or otherwise challenging issues into clear, concise, messages for varied audiences
An aptitude for working with client executives and senior leadership to shape and revise communications products as needed
The ability to manage competing project deadlines and deliverables and deliverables across clients on tight timelines
A healthy appetite for news and information, especially related to industry trends, issues, politics, and policy
The desire to work with a cross-functional, integrated team to deliver award-winning work
A commitment to uphold and defend the highest levels of ethical conduct
Experience in the digital world and affinity to new technologies is a plus
Experience with video or motion graphics is a plus
