Adfero Seeks Senior Account Executive (remote)

 

Adfero seeks a full-time Senior Account Executive with agency experience and a strong writing

background. We’re looking for a candidate who can be an asset and provide support to client

teams starting day one. We seek highly creative and strategic individuals who are collaborative,

ambitious, dependable, and passionate about developing integrated public affairs campaigns.

You’ll lead projects and collaborate with teammates to develop and implement communications

initiatives for our clients. You’ll use your writing skills to take complex issues and transform them

with captivating messaging for various audiences and will coordinate with our in-house creative

and digital teams with video, web and digital projects, to turn our ideas into successful client

campaigns. We’re looking for a driven communications professional that is looking to become a

well-rounded communications strategist.

In this role you will:

 Be the day-to-day lead on client projects; working with account leadership to ensure

team success.

 Conduct thorough research on complex public policy issues to inform editorial planning

and craft creative, thoughtful and clear written content.

 Apply strong, persuasive writing skills and strategic thinking to develop content strategy

and write targeted content for a variety of clients and industries.

 Coordinate integrated public affairs campaigns, including:

 Researching and understanding key audience segments.

 Developing digital content for specific audiences on paid and owned channels.

 Leveraging content performance insights to inform editorial planning and content

execution.

 Use client management skills to communicate directly with clients and ensure client

satisfaction.

 Demonstrate project management skills to manage large and complex projects including

establishing and maintaining timelines and ensuring high quality of all client deliverables.

 Stay up to date on current events and issues related to relevant client policies and

proactively bring content ideas to the client and team.

 Act as a strategic partner and tactical leader to help accomplish the client’s goals.

 Work with team members to identify value-add opportunities within existing client

engagements.

Qualifications:

 3+ years of experience in media relations, public relations, social media and/or

communications.

 Strong leadership skills and a desire to continually improve.

 Previous agency experience.

 Fluent in digital media trends, strategies and best practices.

 Possess a familiarity with social media paid and organic strategies and best practices.

 Strong time management skills and attention to detail.

 Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related discipline preferred.

 The ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and issues.

 Solid research, analysis, and editing skills; ability to understand and explain complex

policy issues in a compelling way.

 Demonstrated experience working on large and multi-faceted projects.

 Excellent presentation, interpersonal and written communication skills.

 Solid project management and organizational skills, with proven ability to manage

deadlines.

 Initiative, with a commitment to continuous learning and improving strategic

communications skills; eagerness to grow as a leader.

 The ability to thrive in a collaborative environment while independently managing

projects.
