2021 DAA Virtual Diversity Dinner

Accelerating DE&I through Profound Actions: Do Better, Do More
June 24, 2021 6 pm ET

DAA Virtual Fundraiser Dinner Event

2020 will go down in history as one of this country’s most challenging periods both economically and socially, and one that pushed the United States to undergo a powerful reckoning on the issue of race, permeating virtually all areas of life and business. The field of public relations is no exception. After years of slow-to-no progress fighting the diversity and inclusion crisis, we learned how critical our role is as communicators, and how agile our organizations could be in adapting to address the issues impacting our country. One of the great legacies of 2020 will be its constructive impact on diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.

This inaugural DAA Event, is intended to showcase work that our communications organizations and colleagues have done in response to the past year’s revelations. We want to honor the standout change makers, share real stories from our industry peers, and inspire with words from the experts regarding Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Impact and Justice within our field. This year’s event will be held virtually.

We invite organizations that have case studies, stories and/or campaigns that highlight DE&I best practices and learnings to share what they think should be featured. Nominations can be submitted below, no later than June 11, 2021.
